1. To appreciate and celebrate national identities and culture, because the diversity of languages makes this world more interesting.(APRECIAR Y CELEBRAR LA CULTURA Y LA IDENTIDAD PROPIA DE CADA NACIÓN, PUES LA DIVERSIDAD LINGÜÍSTICA CREA UN MUNDO MÁS INTERESANTE)
   
2. To awaken students' interest in Spanish culture, to know, value and respect basic cultural and historical aspects of themselves and others. (DESPERTAR EL INTERÉS DEL ALUMNADO POR LA CULTURA ESPAÑOLA, CONOCER, VALORAR Y RESPETAR LOS ASPECTOS CULTURALES E HISTÓRICOS BÁSICOS DE NUESTRO PAÍS Y DE OTROS)
   
3. To broad their knowledge about their own country and about other European nations. (AMPLIAR EL CONOCIMIENTO DE NUESTRO PAÍS Y DE OTROS PAÍSES MIEMBROS DE EUROPA)
   
4. To develop habits of teamwork, effort and responsibility, attitudes of self-confidence, critical sense, personal initiative, curiosity, interest, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. 6. To disseminate Spanish language and culture in the school, educational communities and localities in which the collaborating centres are located.( DISEMINAR Y EXPANDIR EL IDIOMA Y LA CULTURA ESPAÑOLA EN EL CENTRO Y LA COMUNIDAD EDUCATIVA EN GENERAL)
   
7. To encourage students' creativity through different techniques of artistic expression. (FOMENTAR LA CREATIVIDAD DEL ALUMNADO A TRAVÉS DE DIFERENTES TÉCNICAS DE EXPRESIÓN ARTÍSTICA)
   
8. To identify the different elements of oral and written language that are worked on in the classroom. (IDENTIFICAR LOS DIFERENTES ELEMENTOS ORALES Y ESCRITOS QUE SE TRABAJAN EN CLASE)
   
9. To integrate Spanish culture with the other cultures present in the schools, respecting them and considering them as a source of personal enrichment. (INTEGRAR LA CULTURA ESPAÑOLA CON LAS DIFERENTES CULTURAS QUE CONVIVEN EN LA ESCUELA, RESPETANDOLAS Y CONSIDERÁNDOLAS COMO FUENTE DE ENRIQUECIMIENTO PERSONAL)
   
10. To integrate the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the learning process. (INTEGRAR LAS NUEVAS TECNOLOGÍAS DENTRO DEL PROCESO DE APRENDIZAJE)

16. To use printed and audiovisual media to listen, read and obtain information of interest, valuing the good use of language. (USAR MATERIAL IMPRESO Y AUDIOVISUAL PARA ESCUCHAR, LEER Y OBTENER INFORMACIÓN SOBRE EL VALOR DEL BUEN USO DEL LENGUAJE)
